The Songwriter Hall of Fame

We spend so much time talking about artists, but rarely stop to honor the songwriters—the ones who turn feelings into lyrics, and moments into melodies. That’s what the Songwriters Hall of Fame is all about.

Since 1969, this ceremony has been recognizing the voices behind the hits—whether it’s pop, Broadway, protest anthems, or breakup ballads. It’s a celebration of those who’ve shaped generations of music, often without standing in the spotlight themselves.

This year, thanks to The Lede Company, we were on the ground covering it all: red carpet interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, and conversations with legends like Jimmy Jam and rising talents like MŌRIAH and Daphne Browdy.

Every person we spoke to reminded us just how powerful a song can be. It’s more than entertainment—it’s connection, healing, and truth. So whether you’re here for the icons or the next generation, scroll through to meet the minds behind the music.
