On Thursday night, rising alt-pop artist Mer Marcum lit up the Mercury Lounge with a set that was both intimate and electric. From crowd favorites like “Starting Over” and “Junkyard Dog” to sneak peeks of unreleased tracks like “body” and “stay away!”, Mer invited the room into their vibrant world of vulnerability, charm, and sharp-witted lyricism. Their latest single “Green Saturn,” released June 20th, was a clear standout moment of the night—otherworldly and unforgettable. With each song, Mer’s voice carried a magnetic force that had the room fully locked in.
