This Friday Night September 25th, People’s bank arena welcomed Olivia rodrigo for the opening night of her Unraveled world tour. The arena was flooded with sparkles flowers and tiaras everywhere, creating a whimsical atmosphere for all attendees.
Before the Main act kicked off Opener Wolf Alice took the stage for an electrifying opening set filled with bass, grit and lots of shouting (some even through a megaphone!)
The set hyped up the crowd and got everyone in the mood to dance with their friends and rock out with the band. The band then turned their attention to Olivia, Thanking her for the opportunity and telling everyone to enjoy the show before stepping off of stage.
After a brief break the stage was set with thousands of flowers covering every inch of the area, creating a dream like field that olivia ended up emerging from for the first song.
The set consisted of 5 acts inspired by the seasons, the stage shifting with each season such as snow for winter and field ambiance for spring.
Rodrigo sang songs from her past albums while highlighting the songs from her newest albums in between. She took multiple stages such as B and C stage before walking along the barricade to sing to fans.
The night ended with Rodrigo taking the center stage to perform ‘The Cure’ featuring the lyrics the tour was named after. Standing as rain poured down onto her revealing a dissolvable dress followed by a Red Dress underneath.
The encore consisted of ‘Expectations’ Rodrigo encouraging the whole arena to jump dance and scream as loud as they could with their friends, creating a magical ending to the Journey she brought the crowd along for.
