What a night it was for Detroit!

The Beaches opened up the show for Louis Tomlinson at the How Did We Get Here? Tour on Saturday night (July 18th) in Detroit at the Masonic Temple and it was immaculate! Their stage presence was impeccable as they rocked out not only with each other, but with the crowd as well.

Their setlist was packed with incredible bangers, including a track that had been featured on the newest hit TV series, Off Campus.

The moment they stepped on stage, the excitement and energy were up! The Beaches brought an infectious energy with their alternative rock sound. Jordan Miller’s lead vocals were so powerful, as well as Kylie Miller’s (guitarist), Leandra Earl's (guitarist), and Eliza Enman-McDaniel’s (drummer) instrumentals. Their personalities shined through with their genuine stage presences, it felt like such an intimate performance for such a large venue.

What makes The Beaches' show so fun to watch is the camaraderie they have, along with how genuinely connected they are as a band as they play their music together. They’re having the absolute time of their lives, it makes you wish you were on stage playing or having fun with them.

By the time they closed out their set, the crowd was just buzzing with adrenaline and the energy that was left behind from The Beaches’ performance. Having the chance to shoot their set was a dream, getting to encapsulate that energy through my lens. Each photo felt lively, pressing pause on memories to look back on.

If you have a chance to see The Beaches coming to a city near you, you should definitely go. I promise it’ll be worth it! You’ll get a night out to experience live music, and who doesn’t love that?
